Medexon BV successfully inspected Unilin Flooring’s Biomass waste-to-energy plant @Wielsbeke with our Elios 2 caged drone. The construction build by Vyncke, Clean Energy Technology, needed an inspection of the refractory concrete as well the burner entry, the coils and the 2 heat exchangers. By using our drone technology, Unilin could avoid the expensive construction of scaffolds and still get 4k video images of the internal construction of the boiler room and the tower with the 2 economizers. We also inspected the central chimney. At the end, no anomalies were found.
